We carry out all aspects of strength testing, tightness testing, direct purging and indirect purging (nitrogen) of commercial and industrial gas installations.

We can test and purge to IGE/UP/1 so, from your light commercial all the way up to your large industrial gas installation’s we’ve got it covered. 

• Full testing of new gas installations up to and over 1m³ and pipe sizes up to and over 150mm, from strength test to purge, including all pipe sizing calculations and certification.

• Decommissioning of old pipe work gas to air, disconnection and capping of meter outlets so pipe work can be safely removed.

• Decommissioning of pipe work gas to nitrogen so pipes can be safely cut and welded.

• We also work alongside welders and pipe fitters so for full repair options we can manage the whole project.

• Strength testing of existing pipework where the working pressure will be elevated to comply with gas suppliers.

All works carried out will have site specific RAMs and all works will be issued with official certification.
